Fiverr Review – Get Everything done at 5$ 20

Just as Micro Blogging has taken internet to the new level [Web 2.0] , far more than where blogging was , we can expect similar trend in Internet Job stuff – The Micro Job thing !  I am excited to introduce you a smart website with a great concept . I am talking about Fiverr –  A marketplace for gigs allowing you to outsource those small tasks you may have, for a fixed fee of $5

What’s it all about ?

Fiverr.com allows people to list things they would do [ called  GIGS ],  for $5 . In return, Fiverr takes $1 as the commission from the value of the order, leaving the person providing the service with $4. Its more of a fun website rather than strictly MMO websites where you can essentially make money as you want by making use of your super skills, awesome talents, leveraging social networking power to people around the world at just $5 a shot.

Features and the Working :

When you place an order, you have to pay upfront, and then the order is fulfilled. It ain’t have to be Internet related like completing these much reports or getting help in thesis writing. Its actually more of a creative thing that works awesomely like getting your picture drawn in cartoon style and then delivered to your home, learning a new song online, free japanese song lessons etc . The most common or rather popular one’s are about the SEO and wordpress in optimization frame .

How the thing’s work ?

For Sellers

  • Create a gig for a service you are willing to offer
  • Showcase and Share your gig with the world
  • You will get instant Notification once your gig is ordered
  • Finish the task and deliver the service
  • Fiverr credits you $4 soon after you successfully deliver your work

For Buyers

  • Find a gig you want badly or just for fun
  • Study the details and Order it
  • Pay $5 by PayPal or credit card
  • Get your work finished within the time you provide
  • You will have 48 hrs after work delivery to ask for fixes from the seller

You can specify the time you want your gig to be completed and thereby cancel the order if its too late . Also you are able to contact the seller to clarify things before you part with your $5.  There is an option to post buyer feedback on people who perform tasks. Similarly the Task performers are  given a positive feedback score, which can be seen by users who are considering hiring them for gigs . Thus you can very well go for a background check on these stats before spending those 5 bucks .

Nothing’s wrong about fiverr but i would be happy if i see affiliate program in the future like if someone signs for fiverr through my referral link ,you would be given a cut of that person’s revenue earned for that particular period .

Payments:

Payments are handled through PayPal . The minimum payment threshold is $40 . Thus you need to complete 10 gigs in order to withdraw from your paypal account .

My Experience :

I was redirected to this site from one of the gigs shared on twitter and then I created Fiverr account as well as my 1st gig instantly that said

I will send out ad by tweeting out to 23000 followers for $5

I thought that would surely work . Off-course it did!  The followers count seemed to work like a charm and i got my 1st gig on the first day itself 😀 [ I have more followers , coz i followback . Follow me on Twitter ]

Some 3 weeks  have passes since the day i created my Fiverr and i have already completed 11 gigs 😉 Yes , thats 11X4=44$ all for updating a sponsored tweet ! What a difficult job , isn’t it ? 😀

You can also decline a gig , or set priority if you get more sales . Everything is just too good and perfect to manage sales on Fiverr .

Why Fiverr ?

The site has awesome traffic and is good match for this economy. The idea is kind of brilliant and also entertaining and the main reason Buyers are looking for cheap prices and sellers [ Mostly Freelances ] can make quick buck by providing services  . There’s a huge rush of more practical microtasks like : CSS editing , debugging , social media promotion, marketing etc

Infact i think its a better alternative to Mylikes and SponsoredTweets

Once you get the hang of it by posting a few jobs and completing services, you can see the enormous potential for this smart money making machine. Its still in Beta phase but as far as I can see everything is sleek and so user friendly. So then that’s it ! Find me on Fiverr here

What’s from your side ? What will you do for 5$ ?

I agree that you will get done of your job with only $5. However, not almost of Fiverr service getting high quality, it depending on who listed it.

Exactly tony , some gigs are just too hard to believe and are pretty much imaginary 😛 . Once you submit appropriate gig stating all the details correctly , it wont seem a problem for anyone and you can get some good offers 😀

Fiverr is a great site. It’s a mix of professional and creative looking works offered by different individuals. I saw this weird funny work wherein a person will a message for you at a cost of $5 using an alphabet spaghetti. She will just send you a picture of it once done.

Fiverr become a hit lately. I think the most famous stuffs in fiverr are the weird services offered by some members. I remembered about that spaghetti alphabet used for writing a message. It’s pretty cool!

This is great tip! I never knew about Fiverr. I especially find by searching . If someone can do this job for a nominal amount, why not save time and energy and let the professionals do the work? Thank you for sharing.
